I've been sitting here trying to come up with a way to put this that doesn't make me sound like a misogynist asshole. The other night this woman was coming on to me. This is not just flirting. A while back she tried to grab/caress my nuts for example. She started up again the other night and she started slow I guess, she asked if she could kiss and lick my nose. I declined.

Not that the idea was completely repulsive or anything and this woman is very attractive. I felt that this woman, who does flirt aggressively with a lot of people, was for some reason or another just trying to get me worked up. I don’t think it was really a conscious thing. I don’t think she was trying to turn me on just to see if she could. I think she just likes the attention and that is a real easy way to get attention from men.

Now some of you that only know me from what I write here may think that this is just some sort of self-hating thing like “I don’t want to be in any club that would have me as a member.” That couldn’t be farther from the truth. I just felt like I was being teased.

Which reminds me of something that I heard the other night, “What’s worse than a whore? …. A cock tease.” That’s where the misogynist part comes in.

That is the last thing I need or want.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

I have one major complaint about Windows XP. In my experience it makes burning CD's a pain in the ass. It may be my old ass CD burner but I'm also having trouble with my new lap top. A different problem but a problem none the less. I've wasted 3 CD's in the last 24 hours trying to copy a CD and I'm giving up I believe.

I went down to Club Chase last night. They are having a Goth/Industrial/80's/New Wave Night on Wednesday's. Before I continue I need to mention that I'm not really very interested in this kind of music anymore. I never really was much into Goth and what calls itself Industrial now pretty much bores me. I can still get into some of my old 80’s and New Wave music but I rarely dust them off anymore.

Now that that has been said, I know a lot of people who would really like to find a place that plays Goth/Industrial/80's/New Wave music. A big part of Sparks crowd were people that really enjoyed it. This is why I’m spreading the word, if you want to be able to go to a place and dance to the music you like please give it a chance. It’s like anything else if people don’t go then its not going to last for long.

After Club Chase I ran home to see if the CD I had burned worked. On my way there I I could have easily been killed by some woman who ran a red light. This wasn’t one of those squeezing through on the yellow kind of deals. The light had been green in my favor for the length of time it took me to drive a block. If it wasn’t for the fact that I slowed down a bit before I got to the intersection she would have creamed me. The only reason I slowed down early was because I new the timing of the next light. If I wouldn’t have slowed down a bit I would have hit the next light red. Normally, but that time I would have had some dumbass in a burgundy Grand Am plow into the side of my car.

Lastly, I went to the Mag and since I mentioned what could conceivably be a competitor for the Mag’s business on Wednesday’s, I feel obligated to mention that Danny has forced the owner of the Mag to give you people specials. Danny is looking out for you people. Here are the specials:
Mondays: All Night Happy Hour - $1.50 domestic bottles, $6 domestic pitchers & $2 wells
Tuesdays: $1 Bud/Bud Light Draft
Wednesdays: $1.50 wells

There is simply no reason to stay home and drink alone. ;-)

Good Night, Good Morning whatever.

I've been starting to wonder if the neighborhood I live in is starting to get worse.

It seems like it may be leaning more toward a bad neighborhood. UPS won't usually leave a package at your door here because too many have been stolen around here. The Mag has had more incidents in the last 6 months than it has in the year and a half before. The scary thing is that winter is usually a calmer period of time because there are less people out and on the streets. When the weather is below freezing people don't just walk around the streets at 3AM.

Earlier tonight Dana asked a panhandler to leave the bar because he was asking customers for money. In the past it was no big deal and they would move on without even a question. This guy acted like he was going to do something for a half a minute. He ended up leaving on his own but I'm not completely sure he would have gone as easily if I hadn't walked over there.

Speaking of Dana and the Mag Bar I think I'm going to head down there right now. I went down around 9PM or so and I got bored. So, I came home to play some Jedi Knight II.

I need a break.

Good Night. Its still early enough for Good Night.

Pool Players! Pool Players! Pool Players! Pool Players! Pool Players!

Tonight was another example why I love the Mag Bar. On occasion something very surreal will happen. Usually it involves one of the local neighborhood characters.

Even though it was a short evening because of the time change or because of that I had a really good time all the way up to the closing of the bar. I sat with good friends and we had quite a bit of good conversation. Around 1AM I was sitting in a booth facing away from the front door and hear someone shout, "Pool Players! Pool Players in the back! Pool Players! Pool Players! Pool Players! Pool Players! Pool Players!" I turned around after about the third "Pool Players!"

Everyone seemed a little surprised and Mario, the doorman, stood up and pointed outside. The guy, who looked to be about 55 and balding, was still shouting, "Pool Players!" Mario had to actually guide him out of the door. When I say "guide" I do mean guide. This guy was weird but he didn't seem dangerous. Mario went back to his seat and the guy immediately came back and started to shout, "Pool Players!" repeatedly. Mario chased him away and everyone basically sat around scratching there heads trying to figure out what this guy was all about.

An hour or so later he came back again with his hood up on his jacket and walked in and again shouted, "Pool Players! Pool Players! Pool Players!" Mario had to drag him out of the bar. Mario stayed outside for a bit to make sure he walked on.

At around 3:30, I hear, "Pool Players! Pool Players! Pool Players! Pool Players! Pool Players!" Mario went after him and he tried to dodge around him and get farther in the bar. Mario and Danny had to drag him out onto the sidewalk. I forgot to mention that this time he had a Bible with him. He waited outside until the bar closed, to the amusement of many of the patrons. Nobody wanted to hurt the guy but several people were trying to fuck with him, just trying to say fucked up shit about Jesus and God to see if they could get a rise out of him. That was when Mason surprised me by being the voice of reason and tried to get his friends to leave and not fuck with this guy. We left the guy standing at the corner with his bible in hand. I don't know if he tried to save the bartenders when they left or not.

It made an already pleasant evening a little surreal.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.
