Its Saturday morning and since I don't have to work today, I'm just now getting to my post here at 5AM.
All I have for you today is a public service announcement.
Don't forget to set you clocks forward tonight. At 2AM Saturday Night, Sunday Morning the clocks jump forward to 3AM.
This means that if you want to drink your usual amount of alcohol you need to start one hour earlier.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

This going to be a short post and I'm not going to feel guilty about it. The reason being is that I have a present for you.
Scott Davis the guy who was nice enough to video tape Mardi Gras along with Alysen who shot some video on another camera have finally delivered a tape and a few digital versions of the video. Scott had spent a bunch of time doing the editing and then his hard drive crashed hard and he lost all of his work. After some computer work and a search for spare time he got the video for me with some prodding from Alysen I hear.
I want to thank the both of them and I think it turned out great.
Enjoy.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

First, let me wrap up yesterday's business. I finally got it to work right. For the longest time I was using CDex to rip my CD's. I had always been happy with it and it gives you a lot of freedom in how you name the files and I had no complaints. I probably have a couple of GB's of MP3's I ripped with that program. For the most part if I like a bands music I'll buy it, I use Napster-like programs to download a song or two just to see if I'll like the album. SO almost all of my MP3's were ripped by yours truly with CDex.
Now I can't use any of them in my car stereo. I downloaded the basic version of Music Match Jukebox and ripped about 6 CD's and then burned a disc on my computer and they play perfectly. I'm fine with the quality, but I’m not too pleased with the limited choices in the naming of the files. But this will definitely do for now.
Segue…
There is this public access show called Apartment 2, it's on Saturday's at 11PM. I must admit that I haven't seen it yet. They told me that if I like Mr. Show with Bob and David that I would probably like their show. That is a pretty high watermark as far as I'm concerned but I am interested enough to check it out. Fat Tuesday at the Mag Bar I recorded an intro or some kind of bumper for them and I hope to see it sometime. I like these guys because they make me feel like some kind of celebrity because I spend 20 minutes or less a day putting down my ramblings in this space. If you think about it check it out before you head to the bar.

Have you ever been working on getting a nut? Either by yourself or with someone else and it feels real good and you’re really enjoying it and you start thinking to yourself, “Damn, this feels good! I could do this all night long. Tonight’s going to be a marathon; I’m going to see if I can get three or four nuts tonight. Hell, I bet I can beat my record tonight. I’m going to keep at it until I pass out from exhaustion. Oh, yeah! Here it comes! Here is the first of many tonight!”

“Whew… I wonder if there’s sandwich fixin’s in the fridge.”
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

I got a stereo for my car that will play MP3's from a CD-ROM..
I put in a CD I burnt to test it out and the songs started to squeek. I was about to drive back and then I decided to look at the troubleshooting info. It had tips for burning the CD's and other assorted information. After several worthless CD's I decided to try one that I made before I switched to Windows XP. I did this because I have had some problems with my CD burner ever since I switched over. The old CD played fine. So I made a new CD on my roommates computer which still has Windows 98 2nd ed. on it.
I thought I had solved the problem. Wrong! It still squeeked. I finally went to a folder on the CD that had a bunch of MP3's I didn't rip myself. They all played fine.
So apparently its the way either my machine rips CD's or the software I used for it. So now I am in the process of ripping several CD's with a new program to see whats up. It sucks because I already have a shitload of the music I purchased ripped to MP3's and I will have to redo them if I want to listen to them as MP3's. Now you may say, "Why don't you just bring the CD with you and play it straight from that?" For one thing I can put several albums on one CD. At least 6 or 7 depending on the quality I rip the CD, possibly more. Secondly, with summer coming up, I would rather have a 45 cent CD-ROM get warped as opposed to a $18 CD.
Just one of my little computer related annoyances. The sad thing is it may be faster for me to get online and download what I want for free.
Good NIght, Good Morning, whatever.

I hope all of you enjoyed my April Fools Joke.
I made up that page about a month ago and have been waiting patiently to post it up. I’ve also had a hell of a time not telling my friends about it, before I had posted it. I did pretty well, I only told 2 of my friends. I told a couple people more to check out my page late last night but I didn’t give them any info.
April Fools has taken on a whole new meaning in this day and age. It used to be that you pretty much could only trick your friends and if you were “that guy” they pretty much expected it since it was April 1st and all. In order to sucker in a lot of people you had to be in Radio, Television, Newspapers or Magazines.
Now with the internet average people can trick 100’s or thousands of people. If you really have a following like www.fark.com or www.slashdot.org you could fool ten’s of thousands of people. The bigger the site the better the lie, more people will believe it and more people will repeat it. You might not believe something you hear from one person, but if you hear the same story from different sources all day… you start to wonder.
So I just want to assure you that there is no newsletter. I wouldn’t lie about something like that. All of the stories are false except study in the bottom right corner. Well, Dave Norton will be having his tenth anniversary of owning the Mag Bar this summer and my group of friends have been accused of being a boys club, and well, Danny is kind of a dick.
All of the previous paragraph is true except for Danny being a dick.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.
