I got an email about my Bush tirade last night. Apparently the Office of Strategic Influence has been closed already because of the uproar against it. The idea of an office that did nothing but plant propaganda and lies in foreign media was pretty repulsive to most people. Now it makes me wonder if this was one of the Offices first false stories.
I'm not completely paranoid. I actually believe that the office will most likely be closed but the fact that this administration was willing to create such an office makes it very easy to doubt anything they have to say.
I got another AOL CD in the mail. Yea! This one came in a nice metal case.

Tonight I have a subject worthy of a tirade.
Pres. George W. Bush and his men are a bunch of power hungry, greedy evil men that may ruin this country. A little over a year ago when Bush became president I wasn't thrilled by the prospect. I assumed that the rest of the country and possibly the world would realize what kind of person he is and what kind of people surround him. The people of this country would then make him a one term president like his father. I also thought at the time, "How much damage can he do in 4 years?" He has done more damage to the wellbeing of this country in the last year than any president during my lifetime.
Bush continuously pisses off our Allies. His refusal to participate in the Kyoto treaty, cutting foreign aid, breaking the ABM Treaty, and recently the treatment of the “illegal combatants”.
On that last issue we appear to purposefully classify them and keep them in a place that makes it very difficult for anyone to figure out how to represent these prisoners. I don’t know what these men have done but they are not POW’s according to the Bush team. We’re not at war. Yet there is a War on Terrorism that has no clear targets. We have an Axis of Evil consisting of North Korea, Iraq and Iran but so far we’re sending or have sent troops to Afghanistan, the Philippines, Georgia and now Yemen.
Putin appears to have no problem with Bush sending troops to Georgia a former USSR nation. I can’t believe that the rest of the Russian government feels the same. I’ve read that there are those that feel this isn’t about terrorism; it’s about the oil fields of Georgia.
Then there is the newly created Office of Strategic Influence. Who has openly admitted that they will be propagating false information to influence other countries and the people of the US in the process.
There is so much going on I feel that I can’t address it all. Everything the man does seems shady from Enron to Homeland Defense, from the Office of Strategic Influence to actually sending troops to a number of countries.
It feels like Bush and his cronies are trying to push this WTC card as far as they can take it until they finally get called on it. By that time they may have to withdrawal a little but they’ve already raised the mark.
If you read only one of these news stories read this one that I posted on BaldMafia the other day. It compares the recent events to George Orwell’s 1984. It’s kind of eerie.

God Damn STATIC CLING! You walk around and you can feel your pant leg sticking to you and when ever you touch something metal you get a shock.

In the sidebar I have a link to a video. The link is listed as such, "This video will be posted for only one week. Show Me Your Weenis".
The reason I'm being so vague about it is because I think that if it gets associated in some search engine then I’ll end up with a huge amount of traffic. That is also the reason I will only have it posted for one week.
It’s a clip from a Mr. Show episode. The sketch is called Show me your Weenis!. I think it is one of the funniest Mr. Show sketches I have seen. The clip is 3.29 MB and is about 4.5 minutes long. It’s also a Windows Media Video. If you have trouble viewing it you may want to right-click and save it to your hard drive. It’s most likely not safe for work but it is friggin’ funny.
Hopefully once you watch that clip you will be looking forward to the Mr. Show DVD’s as much as I am.
I saw the Queen of The Damned, Sunday and I don’t think it is a good movie by any stretch of the imagination. The only good thing I can say about it is that I didn’t hate it as much as Joey and Matt. I also had a decent time spotting all of the flaws in the movie.

Here is some pop culture news:
1. Mr. Show seasons 1 and 2 will be released on DVD on June 11, 2002! Many, many of my friends are big fans of this show.
2. Bob Markwell a friend of mine and an employee of Ear X-tacy sent me some good news, "Just heard today that on March 23rd (sat.) Tenacious D will be doing an instore at Ear X. Don't know yet if they're performing or just signing stuff, but I'd figure I'd hip ya to it, dude." I plan on being there most definitely.
3. This goes along with the instore at Ear X-tacy... Tenacious D is opening for Kid Rock at Freedom Hall on that same Saturday March 23rd. Ticket Master has ticket prices listed as $29.00 but I don't know if that includes any kind of service charge. Probably not.
Today was such a blah day. It was rainy and dark, which doesn't usually bother me. My brother was feeling ill so he didn't come out. I tried to make plans with a few other people and those fell through.
On a different note. A friend of mine told me about this movie he heard about, its supposed to be called Down and Dirty. It supposed to be a porn movie where all of the actors and actresses have Down's Syndrome. When I heard about this I cringed and so has every person I've asked about this. So tonight I tried to find som proof of its exsistence on the internet. I tried the Internet Movie Database and Google and I couldn't find anything even close.
First of all I don't want to see this film. I just really want to know if it was made. I think it is some sort of urban legend but sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. If you have any proof of the films existence please let me know. Preferably send me a link to some webpage that has some sort of review of the movie or something along those lines. I hope I've ended this post with a good mental image for you folks.
