It’s a new year and people all over the country people are trying to give up their vices. Some have already failed and others are still plugging away at it.
I know of at least 7 people who have given up smoking as a New Years Resolution. To the best of my knowledge they have all stuck with it so far. Though they seem a little irritated when you ask them about it. So it may be difficult to stay informed.
I personally didn’t make a New Years Resolution. It’s not that I’m perfect with no room for improvement. I really am not sure why I didn’t make one. I guess most of the things I want to change can’t be tied up into a nice neat little resolution.
Maybe I'll give it a think and do a Ground Hog Day resolution.

When I did the new layout I wasn't really happy with the color scheme. I was having trouble deciding. I didn’t want to use a color scheme I had done before and I didn't want it to be too much like BaldMafia, though there is a strong similarity in layout already. I got a little constructive criticism and since I agreed. I figured I would make some changes.
Last week when we tried to go to the nudie bar it was closing when we pulled up, two hours earlier than they usually do. So we made the trip last night. I’m starting to get the feeling that I talk about the nudie bar a little too much. Maybe I’ve been going a little too often… hmmm. But we had a good time. It seemed like it was large breast night at PT’s. Probably 75% of the dancers had large breasts. It was weird to because most of them had two scars under there breasts. A scar under each one. I mean what are the odds that 4 or 5 girls who work in the same place had similar accidents that left them with almost identical scars. Very strange indeed.

I mentioned the other day that I saw Ali. I had said it was a pretty good movie and it was but I did want to mention one of the problems I had with the film.
The movie takes place basically from the time he first won the championship, goes through his trouble with the government and his refusal to go into the army up to where he regains the championship in Zaire where he fought George Foreman. At least the last half hour to 45 minutes was dedicated to the Zaire fight and the events around that fight. The problem is that I saw When We Were Kings (1996). When We Were Kings was a documentary about the Zaire fight between champion George Foreman and underdog challenger Muhammad Ali.
When We Were Kings was fantastic. It was all actual footage and went into such great detail and the Real Muhammad Ali was much bigger than life than the Will Smith version. Not that Will Smith didn't do a good job in Ali, he was very good. But in this case the Hollywood version is a pale watered down version of the real thing.
My advice is you rent When We Were Kings, go see Ali and as soon as Ali flies to Zaire leave the theatre, go home and watch the documentary. You'll be much happier.

Even though I barely left the house I had a pretty full day. I was up until about 8:30AM working on the webpage and I slept until about 3PM.
Got up and worked on it some more. I got it to the point where I feel I can relax a little but I may be adding a few other things. If you have any suggestions let me know.
Then I went to work on my computer. I cleared a bunch of old shit off of my computer and I installed the most recent build of XP. Went to the Mag which was pretty dead but the people that were there had a pretty good time. Came home finished getting my computer back to where I want it and I made a few more tweaks to my page.
Time to go to bed.

News:
On New Years Day I am going to do a major overhaul on this space. I plan to redesign it and clean up a bit. I have a lot of stray files and a lot of wasted space. I will be getting rid of a lot of shit. The Pic of the Day Archive and the Link of the Day will still be around but I'm not sure what else will survive the cleanup.
I'll also probably put some things back a later date as I have the time. If there is anything you want to make sure you get you need to download it ASAP. I've already been making preperations and the overhaul will probably start when I get home after the New Years Eve celebrations. Most of it should be completed over New Years Day.

I watched Ali today and it’s a pretty good movie but it made me think about something. According to the movie Ali didn't drink or do drugs and he was a pretty good Muslim except for one thing. Women. According to the movie Ali had an eye for the ladies.
Martin Luther King Jr. was a great man but there were also lots of rumors that he had several lady friends. JFK was famous for his extracurricular activities.
Benjamin Franklin, who came up with the saying, “Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.” Franklin was definitely a ladies man.
There are repeated examples through history where great men could abstain from almost all vices except for one… women. Pussy to put it in a more vulgar term. Pussy is a drug. It’s the most addictive of drugs. It’s so addictive that all you have to do is be near it in order for its effects to kick in. I’ve seen people behave worse than a jonesin’ crack head, in order to get pussy. Men have lost houses and cars and their very livelihoods over pussy.
I don’t blame women for this though. That would be like blaming heroin for being heroin. Heroin has helped a lot of people though painful times. The few women that read this will probably think I’m horrible and that I am objectifying them. I may be. I guess the reason I’m bringing this up is because if you can classify something, if you can put a name on it, I feel you come one step closer to understanding it or more precisely in this case you understand why you behave the way you do. Spotting your behavior is the first step to correcting it.
Women are more addictive than anything else man has come across.
On that note, some friends and I are going to the nudie bar.

I'm a little pissed off at the moment because I'm having some problems with XP every since I installed this third party driver for my video card.
I've had 2 memory dumps in 15 minutes because I tried to load some webpage that accessed that driver.
So I'm in no mood to go on at the moment.
