Every once in a while I like to be an asshole.
Most of the people that know me probably don't think of me that way at all. Those that really know me know that I'm an asshole on a semi-regular basis. Its not usually big things, its usually little things that I find funny. Like trying to leave a pubic hair on the toilet seat at a public restroom. Most of the time though its situations that I may try to create for my mere amusement. Usually it helps to have Roy around because on occasion I'll come up with something that I would like to do but probably won't. So I tell Roy and half the time he'll do it because he has no fear.
Dana told me one time that I was the worst kind of asshole, the kind that no one thinks is an asshole.
I can be a real ass to drunken strangers at the bar. The other day a guy asked me if I would sell him a cigarette. I told him I would sell him one for $4.00, which is the price of a pack in the machine at Mag. The thing is the store across the street was open and he could have easily bought a pack there. I actually had a reason for this, it wasn't just asshole behavior. I've mentioned it before but I don't really care for strangers. If I don't meet you through someone you better have a sparkling personality or I probably won't even try to have a conversation with you. So when some drunk guy comes up to me and asks me for something, well the odds are he is going to witness some of my asshole behavior.
I would never ask a stranger for anything. If my car broke down on the interstate and someone actually pulled over, then I would ask for help. That or a similarly desperate situation are the only scenerios that I can foresee. I have never been craving a cigarette so bad that I would come up to a total stranger and ask for a cigarette.
Enough of that minor rant.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

I just found that they have finally released the Tenacious D video for Wonder Boy.
MrQuick 5:33 AM
Cyrus sent me a picture today. The file is 3.61M but its worth the download. It is the best picture of the destruction of the WTC that I have seen. The most detailed. It's so detailed it brings back the horror of Sept 11th. The video clips have been worn into my consciousness. They don't hold quite the same power as they did on that day. I was literally shocked when I saw the photo.
On a lighter note Grand Theft Auto III is a friggin' awesome game. It takes all of the best of driving games and the good parts of "Resident Evil" style shooters and packages it all very well with a very large world that you can take a break from and just explore if you wish. You can get in almost any car you find. I stole about 8 or 9 police cars from in front of the police station before they started to lock the doors of the parked vehicles. The hospital personnel were smarter, I only stole an ambulance once.
There are missions you have to complete to unlock other areas of the city but once you complete a mission you can just drive around and create as much mayhem as you like. I haven't done it yet but sometime soon I'm going to steal a fire truck. There is something about driving a long black stretch limo with three big gangsters in the back and have a bunch of trucks filled with Triad gang members come out of nowhere. You have to get out of there and get to the Don's home before they completely smash the limo and kill you along with the big fish.
Did I mention the game is friggin' awesome? Before you get to this point you've already beat up a drug dealer pushing in the wrong neighborhood, picked up and delivered a bunch of hookers to a policeman's ball, did a couple of hits, you destroyed 4 Triad laundry trucks to put pressure on a Triad Laundromat to pay protection, later you walk into a trap when you pick up the cash and have to kill 6 or 7 triad gang members, you rob an armored truck and I’m still only in the first third of the city and I know I’ve left out a bunch of stuff.
That’s Grand Theft Auto III for the PlayStation 2.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

James Kemp actually updated his site. It looks like he is planning to update more often. We'll see.
You ever have one of those days where you feel like something is going to happen. You don't know what but for some reason your looking forward to it. That was sort of how I've been feeling all day. I just felt like something was good was going to happen. Nothing good happened or bad for that matter. It was just a busy day at work. The time flew by and I went to the Mag and it was pretty empty for some reason. So I called it an early night.
I guess James Kemp's site being updated is something good, but I was expecting something better.
The Soprano's The Second Season and The Complete Godfather Box Set is coming out the first week of November, just in time for Christmas. I may have to give a Christmas present to myself of one or both of these.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

Sometimes, just sometimes I wish that I hadn't told anyone about this web space. Something I said the other day upset some friends of mine. The problem was that I was pissed and I wrote down my thoughts about how I was feeling. I apologized for offending them but I’m not sorry about what I wrote.
Their feelings are valid and I understand why they were upset, but I had reason to be angry myself. We talked about it a little and I think everything is cool.
I’m sorry I can’t go into more detail but I don’t know if they want their business out there for everyone to see.

Cherie and I went to see from Hell yesterday. I thought it was a pretty good movie. Especially if you have any interest in Jack the Ripper. I need to say that this movie is FICTION. So if your going into the theatre thinking that you will learn a lot about the Ripper then you will be disappointed or misinformed.
If you want to know about Jack the Ripper and the Whitechapel Murders checkout this site, Casebook.org . This site is very well done and thorough source for information on this subject. The movie is based on a comic book and the Royal Conspiracy theory about Jack the Ripper.
I thought the movie was pretty good except I was a little disappointed by the ending because I saw it coming before I walked into the theatre. Not the identity of Jack but the aftermath of the last murder. It's worth seeing if you like Johnny Depp or Heather Graham. Again, I want to say that this is FICTION; the details, the facts of the actual murders are pretty accurate but that is all.
It has been a good day, a little surreal and I think I may have had some sand in my vagina irritating me, because there were several folks annoying me today. Nothing specific, just little annoyances. On the plus side I had an attractive young lady ask me to take nude photos of her, which I will only post if she gives me permission to do so. She claims to be a narcissist.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

Nikki was in town this weekend. I overheard some comments that from background that I was hogging her time. I felt a little guilty about it but I was sitting on the inside of the booth we were in and she could have gotten up and hung out with anyone she wanted to, which she did on several occasions over the evening. There have been several times that Nikki was in town and I barely got a chance to say hi. I may sound a little selfish but fuck it. I only know a few people who ever made the trip to Alabama to see Nikki.
Nikki did have to leave early because she had a little too much fun and she has to catch a plane at noon.
On a different note, I had made this compilation CD for Dana. I think it was a pretty good mix of some good music. Her roommate apparently loves the CD and actually seemed surprised that I have a good taste in music. I took it as compliment, sort of. I think she thought I was into just punk or metal or I really don't know and that was all I listened to. We've never really talked about music so I guess I can forgive her.
In case your actually interested here is the contents to the CD I gave Dana:
1. Sarah Vaughn - Whatever Lola Wants
2. Buzzcocks - What Do I Get
3. Huey Smith & The Clowns - Don't You Just Know It
4. Maceo & The Macks - Cross The S
5. Me First & The Gimme Gimmes - Wild World
6. 10cc - Dreadlock Holiday
7. The Kinks - Living on a Thin Line
8. Drop Kick Murphy - Amazing Grace
9. Me First & The Gimme Gimmes - Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow
10. Alex Gopher - The Child [Album version]
11. Kasey Chambers - The Captain
12. Tricky – Your Name
13. Shinehead - Billie Jean
14. Gorillaz - Man Research (Clapper)
15. Tricky - You Don't Wanna
16. Pigeonhead - Battle Flag
17. Madreblu – Certamente
18. Butthole Surfers - The Weird Revolution
19. Oasis - Fuckin' In The Bushes

I liked it so much I made another copy for myself.
If you feel like it, send me an email and tell me what your listening to right now.
