Sorry about this but I got a new software toy that I want to play with so this is going to be a short one.

Cyrus turned me on to the mpeg encoding software which will make it real easy to let me take video from my camera turn them into mpegs and the burn them to video cd's.

I believe it will be fun.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

This week has been sort of uneventful. Work has been pretty busy, its the end of the month crunch.

I don't have to much to say about myself so I'm going to talk about the great person Sam really is. First, I just found out about all of the great things Sammy did the day before yesterday on Matt's site.

Yesterday, as Sam was going to work a car accident happened right in front of his vehicle. With his lightning reflexes he was able to bring his car to a safe stop. There was a woman trapped in the accident and Sammy, with an amazing display of strength aided by a jolt of adrenaline, he tore the door off of the woman's car and carried her to safety just before the car exploded.

When he got home from work, he found a Cardinal from the Vatican waiting for him. The Cardinal told him that the Church and the Pope wanted to give him Sainthood for all of the great deeds and miracles that he has done throughout his life. Apparently, the Pope was willing to wave the rule that a person must be dead before they can be canonized. Sammy graciously thanked the Cardinal, but declined because he didn't think it was fair that the rule be waved just for him and he also didn't want his canonization to effect the possible sainthood of Mother Teresa. Sammy, then cooked the Cardinal a nice dinner and let him sleep in his bed while Sammy slept on his couch.

The next morning the Cardinal went back to Italy and Vatican City.

It's also rumored that the Queen of England will soon be offering Sam a Knighthood.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

This is going to be a short post because I just figured out how to burn mpegs to a video cd that will play in dvd players.

So I'm busy copying a bunch of episodes of Jackass to VCD.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE technology!

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

I just saw the latest preview of The Lord of The Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. It is amazing.

I can't wait until Dec 19, 2001. Last year at about this time I thought this movie was coming out Christmas of 2000. So I bought the series again and read them all again so it would all be fresh in my mind. After reading them again I found out that it wouldn't be until Christmas of 2001. You might say I was a little disapointed. I have been waiting for this movie for about three years, I believe. I think that was when I first heard they were going to make the movie.

I waited for every detail. I first heard that they were going to shoot all three at the same time and release them a year apart. Then I heard that they wanted good actors and not just guys that kind of looked like the characters. They weren't going to hire midgets, they planned to make full sized actors look smaller with special effects because they want to get the best actor for the roles. The first preview I saw was sort of a behind the scenes with a few clips of computer animation for the film.

Early on I had misgivings about the movie. "How are they going to bring this classic to life on the screen with out making it look like some generic Dungeons & Dragons movie?" Has anyone seen Ralph Bashki's Lord of the Rings? It fucking sucked. SUCKED! I say! The animated version of the Hobbit is actually pretty good but the Hobbit is not as grand a story.

Each movie preview that came out has shown a little more. This latest preview is so impressive that I am about to shit a brick knowing that I'm going to have to wait almost 3 months to see it.

I know I'm a geek. You don't have to tell me, I know.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

If you hadn't already heard this by now, Chan was due to film in WTC on fatal day.

The reason I mention this is because if Jackie Chan had been there, the situation in the world at the moment may look even more grim for Afghanistan.

The people of Hong Kong and China friggin’ love Jackie Chan. Jackie Chan married Taiwanese actress Lin Fengchiao in 1982. He kept the marriage secret until the 1990s, partly because he feared the news would prompt foolish action on the part of fans. A woman heard a rumor that Chan was dating and she committed suicide by jumping into the path of a bullet-train.

Chan’s hypothetical death would have had a large chunk of China thirsty for blood.

Our combined need for revenge may have brought our two countries closer together. It would almost be the same as if Michael Jordan had been killed in the tragedy. Not that one person’s life is more valuable than another’s but there are many, many people out there that love Michael Jordan and his pretty much squeaky clean image.

Not that I would ever want Jackie Chan involved in this kind of incident but I could see some interesting scenarios.

I didn't see Sammy tonight but I heard that Sammy burned his hand rescuing three orphans from a burning bus. That Sam deserves a medal.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

As you can probably see, I've been busy this evening.

I had gotten tired of the way this space looked so I started almost from scratch. I plan to do more work to it. For example I want to change the way pictures are viewed but I have so many pictures that it would be a really, really big job and I didn't want to spend the whole night doing it. I have a few other tweaks I want to do here and there but so far I'm pretty happy with it.

Now I want some feedback on this because I made a special effort to try to get this to look good on almost any screen size. It should look fine even if your screen display is set at 800x600. Which I bet if most of you checked you'd see that you could increase your screen display and enjoy your computer even more but if your system is a little old and you can't go any higher you should probably try to get a new computer. Also this site should look fine for you.

If you come across any bugs or if you have trouble reading anything let me know.

Its almost 12:30 and I'm heading down to the Mag.

(Update: 3:15AM - I just got home from the Mag and even though it was a slow night I had a pretty good time. Except when this fucked up bitch thought it would be a good idea to kick me because she thought I threw a piece of ice at her, which I didn't do. The kick didn't hurt but it was the point that she did it and since I barely know her its not something I can write off. If a friend of mine had done that to me I wouldn't have gotten pissed off I would have written it off as being playful. Not this case however.

Also, amazingly enough Sammy only had one beer and went home. As he was leaving I saw him walk an old woman across the street. Sam has been living up to the nickname St. Sammy.)

Good Night.

The other night I was talking about the lap dances Matt and I got at P.T.'s. We decided we wanted to take Ben down a get a lap dance so he would know what we were talking about. The problem was that the two girls weren't there. They each had told us that they usually work Saturdays. Apparently, they had lied to us. Which was odd because we had never had women lie to use before. Well, live and learn.

When I was down there I had a surreal moment. This guy walks up to me and just looks at me. He then holds out his hand and tells me his name is Troy. I shook his hand and said, "Ok."
He then says, "You are awesome!"
He then walked away. Either he thought I was someone else or this webpage is more popular than I thought.

After a little good clean fun we went back to the Mag Bar. Soon after we got there a police chase went right by the bar. One cop came up 2nd the wrong way and tried to place his car in the way of the soon to be convict. The guy had no front right tire and slipped by the police car. He was chased by 4 or 5 Louisville Police cars, a big Police truck and another 4 Indiana State Troopers. It was quite a lot of excitement for 30 seconds. I was so surprised I didn't get my camera out in time to snap a photo.

Damn it!

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.
