I forgot to mention that I changed the video in my video section. I still have the Mardi Gras video posted.
Assboobs!
I can't think of anything to talk about so I'm just saying whatever pops into my mind.
Cyrus is over here and to much is going on for me to write a decent post so I'm going to just cut this one short.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

I was starting to think that I may not go to Costa Rica because it was getting close to spring and I hadn't made any definate plans yet. There is no way I can go down in the middle of summer. I don't think I could handle the heat of the tropics in the middle of summer.
As soon as Cyrus gives me the info about this airline that has a group rate for 4 or more, I will be making definate plans. This airline charter is only charging $225 per person to fly from Louisville to Costa Rica.
So Cyrus, if your reading this, SEND ME THE DAMN INFORMATION!
I could just send him an email but I want to try to exert some peer pressure hopefully.
It looking like late April. After Thunder Over Louisville and before Derby.
For all of you out there that hate winter. There is a chance of flurries this weekend. ;-)
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

In the story I posted yesterday on that board. The only truth to the story was the "magic shirt" part. Matt was a little drunk at the time and it wasn't a very good thing to say. Plus this was so many years ago and I don't really know if its a true or not. But the story has been around a long time.
I saw a commercial for the new show on Comedy Central called That's My Bush! They have a guy that looks a lot like George W. I am looking forward to seeing it. It's made by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park. Judging by the satire in South Park, I can imagine what they'll do with a George W. Bush look-a-like.
I'm feeling the urge to play some Counter Strike before I go to bed so I need to cut this short.
Good NIght, Good Morning, whatever.

Matt found this bulletin board that seems like a Matt Loomis Fan Page.
There are several stories about Matt but none of them are true. A few of them have a grain of truth to them but that is about it. Matt and I have a pretty good idea who the people involved are. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. If you read the posts you find out that one of the people is a bartender at the Mag and the other person lives in Nashville. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to come up with two names. Most likely its Aaron and Mark.
Every picture of Matt is from my website. Linked directly from my website. I guess they count as hits to my site but I wish they would look at more than just a couple of my pictures.
I encourage everyone to goto this site, sign up and post some sort of story about Matt. I would try to put some truth in the story... even if its just one sentence.
I made up one already.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

The Mag Bar has always had affinity for things that are Irish. The Pogues have been on the jukebox for as long as I have been going there. There was an Irish Flag hanging in the bar for a real long time.
I remember many years back when someone had told David, the owner, that the Mag was an Irish thug bar.
Let’s just say that the Mag Bar takes St Patrick’s Day fairly seriously.
Danny, one of the bartenders, has declared this Saturday, Suit Night. If you want to get into the spirit of St Patty’s then make sure you dress up this Saturday. Don’t worry you won’t be the only one.
One of the best St Patty’s I ever had at the Mag was several years ago and the holiday happened to fall on a Sunday. At that time you couldn’t serve liquor in Louisville unless you served food. So the bar was only serving beer.
A large group of my friends all dressed up in suits. We went over to a friend’s house, drank a lot and ended up singing Pogues songs. We then went to the Mag and everyone had a flask on them.
I think more whiskey was drank that night than any other night.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

Sopranos was great last night. That show just keeps getting better and better.
I group of us went over to Sammy's and watched the show at his house. A good time was had by all. Then STONE COLD came on one of Sam's movie channels.
I used to think that the movie was just your basic bad lower level action movie. But watching it again, I think it is the gayest movie I have even seen. This is not a lie. I have seen Torch Song Trilogy. I have seen The Birdcage. I have seen Relax... Its just sex. Which pretty much starts of with two men having sex.
NONE, of these movies are as gay as STONE COLD. I can't believe the movie was ever made. I know no matter how I try to explain this it will not make much sense. Let me just say this. Watch the movie with the mindset that it is a gay porn. You will have a whole new understanding.
Man, it's gay.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

When I worked at the Mag everyone sort of kept themselves in line. Almost everyone that is.
For example when I went to the Mag last night I walked in, talked to a couple of people and then went to the back to see what was going on. As I approached the jukebox this drunk guy I didn't know raised his hand like he wanted to shake mine and shouted, "Heyyy wooooooo!" or some other nonsense. I ignored him and walked past him. After I passed I heard his friend say, "Man, I told you not to act like that! They don't like that shit here!"
I thought it was hilarious. I've had to baby-sit a friend that was acting the fool in the wrong place. I know how the guy felt. But what I liked the most is that most of the people that come to the Mag know what they can get away with. But its not just the bartenders or bouncers that keep people in line. Its the regular patrons.
I was talking about this very subject at work yesterday. If a fight was about to happen usually someone would tell me before it actually got started. Better yet, if some regular brought a friend into the bar he would usually keep them in line. No one wants to bring some friend to his hangout and have that friend show his ass. Most everyone has a good time because they have figured out the rules.
But last night there was at least one fight and a couple of near collisions. If there is a fight it almost always because some stranger(s) has come into the bar and thinks he is some hot shit.
One night many years ago these four guys who as far as I know had never been to the Mag before, managed to piss off about half of the bar. I guess they thought that since there were four of them they could handle anything that came their way. The problem with this attitude at a bar like the Mag, is that you piss off one guy, you then have to deal with him and the people he knows real well at the bar. Those friends know others and pretty soon 4 on 1 has become 4 on 15.
Anyway, it got to the point that I told the 4 guys that they had to leave. They started talking shit and I then told them that I was doing them a fucking favor. I told them to take a quick look around. "There are about 15 guys here that want to kick your asses. I don't give a fuck about you but just I don't want to have a fight in my bar."
They took a quick look and saw literally 15 guys all eyeballing them just waiting for something to happen. One of them was still talking a little shit but they were all moving toward the front door.
I must admit I sometimes miss working at the Mag. I'm still treated like family, but there is still a difference.
Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.
