I don't think I have ever been this sick for this long.
It started Sunday and I won't go into the details but I have been sick ever since. I made it into work part of the day Tuesday and I made it through the day Thursday. Friday at about 6AM I woke up from a dream. I don't remember the details of the dream but I remember hearing the words, "Quit furping and go throw up!"
Which I did. Now you may wonder what "furping" is. I was wondering the same thing but after a moment I knew what it was. A "furp" is a fart burp. A burp that tastes so bad that its like you farted out of your mouth. I was furping the last hour before I went to bed at 2AM.
I actually feel pretty good now. I feel a little queezy but on the mend.
There is one good thing that came out of the day. I was flipping through the channels and a movie was starting on BRAVO. I had missed the title but the song playing was Hiphugger by Booker T and the MG's. I happened to know that Hiphugger is the theme song to BARFLY.
I have never seen the movie but I have been meaning to rent it for a long time. Pretty much all of my friends tell me how great it is and they can't believe I've never seen it. Well now I have. I must say I enjoyed it.
One of the more memorable lines from the movie goes estentially like this, "I don't hate people. I just feel better when they're not around."
Unless I take a downturn I should be out tonight. I'm about to go to bed and I should be well rested.

I was watching The Daily Show on Comedy Central and I found out who was going to be in the Super Bowl.

N'Sync! Yeahhhh!!!! OMIGOD!!!
Here is the scary thing. I bet 30 minutes after they sing the song you will be able to find it on Napster.
HOLY SHIT!!! I just went to Napster to see what versions of the Star-Spangled Banner there were and there is already an N'Sync version there. Its 2 minutes and 20 seconds long. Which isn't too bad I suppose. One of the N'Sync versions says its from the World Series.
I also found, Whitney Houston, Bruce Springstein, Jimi Hendrix, Jewel, The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Pearl Jam, Marvin Gaye, Faith Hill, Bela Fleck and a version from the Simpsons. There were also a few others I didn't mention.

When I was still in high school I had this friend named Mark Hermann.
He was one of those guys that would do anything for a laugh. It was usually gross. He was the guy that would go to the library everyday and lookup the word "booger", pick a fresh one, and put it in the dictionary on that page.
Anyway, one day, Mark, Denny Barket and myself were sitting at a table in the library during our study hall and Mark kept going on about this nose hair that was growing out of his nose. This is not an exaggeration, the hair probably came out of his nose about half an inch. He sat there stroking it and talking about it. About how he was nursing it along. How much time he had put into it.
Finally, Denny got so annoyed he reached over and with the quickness of a cat he grabbed that nose hair and yanked it out.
Maybe I could find some sort of moral to this story like, "Don't rub your good fortune in the face of others."
At the time though when I saw this and I saw Mark's eyes begin to water, I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair.
The reason I tell you this story is that I haven't been out much in the last couple of days and I can't think of anything else to talk about.

I hate being sick.
When I'm sick I like to complain about being sick but I don't usually want anybody to help me. I have had a couple of offers for chicken soup but I basically turned them both down.
I believe I may have said this before but you'll just have to suffer through it again.
Actually I don't think I'll complain anymore than I already have. Its bed time.

I want a zamboni.
I went to the grocery store today and since I've been getting sick again I wanted cereal. I almost never eat cereal. Ever since I left home I have probably only bought cereal about a dozen times. Anyway I bought a box of Fruity Pebbles. First, I must say that cereal is fuckin' expensive. I don't get it. Second, I didn't really look closely at the box. When I got home and got a good look at the box of Fruity Pebbles, I noticed that they had marshmellows in them.
Fruity Pebbles is the most sugar laden breakfast cereal I can think of. But for some reason somebody must have thought that it just wasn't sweet enough. They added a shitload of marshmellows to it. No wonder so many kids are on ritalin. Its not that they have A.D.S. its that they are bouncing off the walls on a sugar high.
They still are tasty though...
Earlier this evening I asked Maggie what she thought I should talk about on today's post. She said I should talk about the heinies of the guys that work at the Mag. I don't really have much of an opinion but from the informal poll I took at the Mag. The women folk think Danny is the only one with a good butt. After looking at it for about 30 minutes I must concur that Danny does have a nice round apple bottom.

My friend Cherie and I went to see SNATCH.
It was great. It was funny, it had lots of guns, a couple of swords, a lot of killing (mostly very violent) and it had a lot of good music. I don't believe any character in the movie knew everything that was going on.
If you liked LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS, you will definately like SNATCH. They were both written and directed by Guy Ritchie. Many of the same actors are in both films. One actor that is in both films is Vinnie Jones. He can really play a badass. Plus he is a badass in real life. He first came to fame when a photographer took a picture of him grabbing the testicles of an opponent during a soccer match.

I finally got my pictures back from www.ofoto.com. It took about a week but I'm really happy with the way the pictures turned out. Printed out at 4 X 6 they look as good as any other 35mm film print. I'm looking forward to trying out some photos I've played around with in photoshop.

George W Bush is now officially the President and Bill Clinton is now former President Bill Clinton. Its my understanding that Bill Clinton can conceivably run again in four years. I believe the law is that a person can only be President for 2 terms in a row but they can serve a total of 3 terms.
What I would love to see is Bill Clinton run in 2004 and become President again. The great thing about this would be that he could possibly make both Bush Presidencies, one-termers. This would make Bill Clinton some sort of Presidential Cock Blocker for the Bushs. I truly believe Bill Clinton would win again if he ran. If only it would happen. *sigh*
