The source of most heartache is caused by the pursuit of happiness.
- Gary Quick

Funerals are a very complex ceremony. I’m not talking about the actually burial of the body. I’m speaking of the way people think and feel about it.

Everyone handles grief differently. There are always the people who play “Mom” or “Dad” to the others. They take care of those who need support.

There are people who become nearly helpless and need support.

There are people who get angry. Angry about their loss but they turn their anger toward others. They feel that other people don’t have the right to mourn because others couldn’t have loved him as much as they did.

I feel that the majority of people rotate between all three. Helping when needed, accepting help when its offered and they feel anger and hurt about their loss.

Everyone has to deal with their own shit. When it comes right down to it.
Sooner or later your going to be sitting home by yourself and you MUST come to terms with your feelings and your actions toward others.

Tomorrow, I will post the new Babe of the Month and I am going to have a photo caption contest.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

So I need to get up in about six hours and go to a funeral.

I'm tired and I need to go to bed.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day.

Good Night.

I feel that I am too young to have friends die.
I am one month older than Matt Davis. I was a couple of years older than Kevin Wettle who passed on last February.

As the Gary Krishna I command that nobody that I personally know can die before me. At least not before they get written permission from me in triplicate.

I had planned to go on this long tirade about all of this. But I can't seem to work myself into a frenzy. I just keep thinking about when I first met Matt and what I was doing at that time of my life. Then I think about Kevin. Kevin was the first friend of mine that died. I truly sympathize with Matt's friends, the people he worked with at Cahoots (who are also his friends), and his family.

Good Night.

I have known Matt Davis for about 5 or 6 years.
We weren't the best of friends but he always said hi to me and called me by name.
I have several friends who were close to him and I know he was well-loved.

He passed away last night.

Family and friends will be at:
PEARSON FUNERAL HOME
149 BRECKENRIDGE LN
(502) 896-0349
Thursday from 2-5PM and 7-9PM.
I was told the funeral services will be Friday at 10AM at Cave Hill.

The trouble with born-again Christians is that they are an even bigger pain the second time around.
- Herb Caen

Halloween was great. A good time was had by all. I posted several pictures and I will probably post a few others on my daily pics over the week.

I have a philosophical question.

If given a choice between these two options, which would you choose?
1. Be surrounded by water but not able to drink it.
2. Be in a desert or some other place without any water at all.

Either way you will be thirsty. I would have to choose the first option because even though your thirst cannot be quenched you will still be able to feel the water and cool yourself.

I could see at first glance that it might be better to without any water because you are not constantly reminded of water.

Tell me if you have any thoughts.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

A cynic is a man who, when he smells flowers, looks around for a coffin.
- H. L. Mencken

I am the GARY KRISHNA! The other day a friend of mine took a picture of me at the bar. I didn't get around to looking at the photo until tonight. I couldn't believe what I saw. I have a lot of work to do. My divinity has been revealed. I need to start working on my Seven Commandments. I wonder if I can somehow get a movie deal out of this.

Halloween. Its a great holiday. Women who would never wear anything revealing will dress themselves up like two-bit whores without even thinking about it. One of the downsides is that you find out a little too much about some people's desires. Like that one quiet girl who seemed so "normal" and comes out in full dominatrix gear that must have cost several hundred dollars, including a 12 inch strap-on penis and she REALLY seems into it.

I usually have all these big ideas before Halloween arrives but I procrastinate so long that by the time Halloween gets here I try to throw something together the night before. Which is what I did this year. As a matter of fact I have to go buy a few things tomorrow to finish up my costume.

Which means I need to go to bed or I'll never get up early enough to finish up before I go to work.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

I like work; it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.
- Jerome K. Jerome

Well the line on a Playstation 2 fell through. So I still have my eye out for one. If anybody knows where I a can get one, let me know.

I'm considering starting my own religious movement. Matt, has told me on several occasions that I should be the leader of a cult. He also gave me the name of the cult, The Gary Krishna's.

I've been thinking about the details lately. I would have to borrow a little from the Catholics. I like the "all things in moderation" approach. I'd have to borrow from Norse Mythology. Who wouldn't want to live in Vahalla. This also goes along with the Muslim's idea of Heaven, at least in my opinion. Reincarnation would have to be in there somewhere but it would be a way to give you another chance if you can't get into Heaven. The requirements for being a saint will be much more lienent than in the Catholic Church. Basically, whoever I assign sainthood. Which would consist of my friends at first but I could pass out honorary sainthoods for donations to my church. Of course the less you would deserve sainthood the more it would cost. I might even let them pick what they are the patron saint of.

Matt, could be the Patron Saint of Scotch and Strippers. Joey can be the Patron Saint of Catholic School Girls or possibly the Patron Saint of teenage girls in general. Damon could be the Patron Saint of Masturbaters.

This is still all in the early stages so nothing is written in stone yet. Feel free to offer suggestions.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.

Only the mediocre are always at their best.
- Jean Giraudoux

I have a line on a possible Playstation 2. I'm not going to say where or when because I don't want to jinx it.

Yeah, right. I just don't want someone else getting there and beating me to it. I've already tried to tell my Halloween joke, that I posted on the 25th, to four people who had read it on my site before I got a chance to tell them. So I know some people out there read this crap I put up.

I'm tired and its time for me to go to bed. My body doesn't know that the clock has been set back an hour and I'm tired.

Good Night, Good Morning, whatever.
